Surviving Siblings was created in memory of Brittany's brother, Eric, and Eliza's sisters, SStaophie and Ruby. We wanted to create something where other siblings who have experienced grief could connect and find resources along the way. We started with our book, I'm STILL A Big Sister!, and now we have expanded to making sibling bereavement boxes and creating awareness around sibling grief.

When a baby is stillborn or passes away shortly after birth, there is a narrow window in which to collect keepsakes. Given the mental state of the parents at the time, they cannot think clearly and look ahead to imagine what they will want to have as a remembrance of their child. When we provide keepsake boxes to families experiencing the loss of a baby, we are providing them with a lifetime reminder and a physical connection to the child that was only in their arms a matter of minutes or hours.
Our keepsake boxes are available at our partner hospitals (https://www.rachelsgift.org/our-hospitals.html) and are offered to moms and families at their time of loss. Boxes are presented during the course a mother's hospital stay by a staff member who has completed the Rachel's Gift bereavement training class.
*Please note we are only shipping within the USA at this time. We hope to be able to ship internationally in the near future!*
Our Sunshine Box is designed for bereaved families of infants or children who received a life limiting diagnosis immediately following the loss of a child.

BECAUSE EVERY LIFE MATTERS.
A main focus of the foundation is to provide memory making opportunities for parents during the end of life moments with their baby or child. It's the heart of the foundation that parents be afforded every opportunity to preserve vital and precious memories.
Parents can never be prepared to lose their child. It's not the natural order of the things. Everly's Angels wants to help think for a newly bereaved parent when the grief grabs hold. At this crucial time, we want these broken parents to have the resources they need to create lasting memories. One way we do this is through our "Everly After" Box Program.
Created from the Heart
We know the unfortunate time constraints placed on families anticipating a limited life or experiencing a loss and understand the urgency to make as many memories as possible in that short time.
Boxes include a baby blanket, a candleholder to light at special times, a book to read the baby, a kit for hand or foot molds, a keepsake with baby’s prints, special stuffies (one to keep and one to leave with the baby).
We provide memory boxes filled with keepsakes and mementos to help families create lasting memories of their loved one. We also provide useful tools, equipment, and training free of charge to hospital units, hospices, and other professionals who work with grieving families.
Comfort Kits are provided to individuals and families in Canada who experience pregnancy or infant loss and are intended to provide gentle direction and lots of compassion.
Each box may contain a lovely easy to read version of the Bible which includes a list of encouraging and comforting verses, a book on infant loss that walks through the grieving process, journal, pen, candle, footprint pin, lotion/soap, booklet on miscarriage/infant loss, resource list (includes resources for dad’s and how to talk about the loss of a sibling), local supports, websites and online groups, blanket and other items of comfort and support.
