Provides support and resources to families after the death of a child from any cause. Also participates in legislative and advocacy issues, community engagement and volunteerism, and culturally competent, multidisciplinary, education opportunities. Provides online support groups, listings of local in-person support opportunities, and a regular newsletter for parents. The Foundation is committed to providing long-term support to families after a child’s death.


Still Standing Magazine
Founded in 2012, Still Standing Magazine has been the world’s leading online voice in breaking the silence on child loss – from conception to adulthood, and infertility. We share stories from around the world of writers surviving the aftermath of loss and grief – and include information on how others can help.

Provides support and resources for families who have experienced the death of a baby (ies) and are living without a child to raise.

Mommy Interrupted
Mommy Interrupted seeks to support women and families facing challenges throughout the perinatal period, including but not limited to infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, and postpartum concerns.

Lucky Anchor Project
The mission for The Lucky Anchor Project is to be a resource for families grieving the loss of a child, whether from pregnancy or infant loss. All of the profits from our Etsy store are donated to other organizations that help the loss community or are used to put on events that support loss families.

Postpartum Support International
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group; Our online Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support group provides connection for mothers grieving the loss of their baby. Led by PSI trained facilitators, this group helps bereaved mothers find support as well as provides useful information and resources to help them navigate the pain of their loss. Losing a baby can be a lonely experience and this group helps provide an avenue for healing and hope. We are here to help.

The Healing Chickadee (Soulful Sydney, Inc.)
The Healing Chickadee is an interactive, experiential grief program for children age 4 to age 11. The program includes a plush chickadee which arrives via U. S. Mail along with an invitation to an online offering of videos, activities, and music by a group of feathered friends called the Tweethearts. Created and presented through the non-profit known as Soulful Sydney, The Healing Chickadee is a catalyst for conversation and an opportunity for children and the trusted adults in their lives to make a connection as they come to terms with their feelings after a traumatic event.

Experience Camps
Experience Camps provides free, one-week camps for boys and girls, ages 9-16, who have a parent, sibling or primary caregiver that died. It's a place where kids can laugh, cry, play, create, remember the person who died, or forget the grief that weighs them down. It's a place where they can feel "normal", because everyone there has been through something similar and understands what it's like to lose someone important to them. And just about everyone will tell you, "It's the best week of the year".
Adam’s House
Our “Helping Hearts Heal” program offers peer support that encourages the expression of grief through positive play, art and group discussions. Groups are available at no-cost. Children, ages 3 to 18, who are grieving the loss of a parent, grandparent, sibling or significant person are eligible for our program. Widow/Widowers groups meets monthly and are open to new members. Adam’s House is conveniently located off Rt. 8 making it accessible to most Connecticut residents.
The Cove Center for Grieving Children
Providing hope and healing for grieving children/teens and their families. Provides hope and healing for grieving children/teens and their families, as well as training for the professionals who work with them. Offer family and school-based programs utilizing the peer support group concept for helping children, teens and families work with their unresolved grief due to the death of someone significant in their lives.
First Candle
SIDS and other sleep-related infant deaths claim the lives of 3,600 babies every year, and the death of an infant affects not only parents, but grandparents, family members, friends, and those in their community. First Candle provides 24/7 bereavement support, offering compassion, expertise, professional guidance, and a network of people who understand because they too know the pain of losing a baby.

Star Legacy Foundation
Provides support and resources to families experiencing a pregnancy loss or neonatal death. Offers resources available to bereaved families, including support groups. They are held virtually via synchronous online video and are encrypted for security. All support group facilitators are trained mental health professionals with first-hand experience and/or practice emphasis in perinatal loss.
Hope After Loss
Hope After Loss, Inc. helps those who experience pregnancy and or infant loss to find the inspiration of hope by providing connections, comfort and care.
